Nearly

Today was Perhimpunan Khas Day.

Yipee.

I woke up at 6.05.

I was suppose to be there by 6.30.

Crap.

Made it there.

Carried the horribly heavy bass cube up. You know me, does it look like I have muscles to you?

Now my arm is aching.

My first ever bass guitar performance!

Wooooohooo!

Except for the first song, Negaraku, which I realise I played all the notes a string down, it wasn't TOO bad.

......

And I was too soft.

And occasionally I missed my clarinet section because I had to stand next to Sharon Melissa. Haha, joking, I love Sharon!

And people kept STARING at me. As if they hadn't ever seen a bass guitar player standing up before. Geeez. SO creepy. I'm talking bout you Emmeline. :D

I got a wooden plaque thing for being a prefect and I missed my certificate for joining debate.

Hmph, worked so hard and I didn't get to receive it myself. Oh wells, I feel even sorrier for Lip Yi cause she did all the work and didn't even get a certificate. Sorry yeah?

And I changed my very second guitar string in my life today!

WIth Lip Yi's Playar Gabung.

Very interesting experience.

YOu see, the 4th string was broken by Amanda Voon. But I didn't know how to re-string the new one.

SO we plucked out the 3rd string to see how to do it.

Then we figured it out.

Then I stringed on the 4th string.

But I couldn't string back the perfectly alright 3rd string.

But I managed in the end.

Nearly broke it. Nearly~

Just Nearly.

HEH?

I'm sort of in a dilemma. You see, EYM's Form 3s' have been put incharge of a Salvation Army visit next Saturday. And then on Sunday afternoon, my mum and I were planning to go to KL.

But our band has decided to have their band camp starting next Friday till Sunday. And I want to go for that too.

So should I do SA and KL or Band and just Band.

I might be able to get permission to go for SA while during Band Camp but that's not a definite yes. And I won't get to go to KL.

However if I do SA and KL, I'll miss BAND CAMP. And I said BAND CAMP.

I asked my sub-conscious self, Lip Yi, what to do and she said she wouldn't tell me. And minutes before that, she wouldn't stop telling me what to do. Useful lot, she is.

I asked my mum and she didn't even answer me. She gave this long exhaling sigh as if all my plans were so exhausting to think about, which I do admit, they are.

So now what.

And guess what.

I have a cat?

Wrong.

I have a dog?

Also wrong.

Today is magically the last day of school for us Form 3's.

Can you believe that?

They just decided THIS MORNING.

You can't DO that! I was so unprepared. Just cos' our pusat pemulihan trip was cancelled, you can't just decide on the spot that, "Oh, then let's just make it the last day for the Form 3's today. No biggie."

Yes, biggie. I wasn't prepared to say goodbye just yet. I want my Form 3 life back! I would even go for PASCA PMR. Even if I just fell asleep. I didn't even say goodbye to my teachers.

I didn't even bring my camera to school!

Oh wait.

I'm still going to school tomorrow for band practice for Presentation Day.

Anti-climax.

Today

Today was our 2nd poco-poco dance! Ewww. Man, they played it like this.

1st set- The Song
2nd set - Same annoying song.
3rd set- Same annoying song.
4th set (a combination of all 3 sets) - Same annoying song.
5th set, repetition of 4th set- SAME ANNOYING MALAY SONG AT FULL VOLUME.
6th set - SAME THING
7th set- AAARRRRRGGGGGGGGH.

I officially HATE POCO POCO. Seriously. I'm not joking. I nearly went up to the teacher and screamed in her face. Seriously. I'm NOT joking.

Then we watched Aliens in the Attic with weird looking aliens.

Then I jammed with Clar for 2o minutes.

Then the Gejala Sosial ceramah that involved all the punca and kesan of Gejala Sosial.

By the Chief Inspector sumthing, sumthing.

Poor guy. Probably quite intimidated by us. Becuase, obviously, we weren't listening. He didn't even TRY to make it interesting. He just spoke as if he was far away and avoided all eye contact possible.

Hmm, maybe I won't go to school tomorrow.

Future

My mum and I have been talking a lot about the future.

What to do.

Where to go.

Where to stay.

What to study.

What to become.

Where to go after I become what I become.

Oh, for goodness' sake, I just finished PMR. Give me a break, just for another month, won't you?

I've been really bored in school (though I feel rather proud that I've been faithful,*ahem*) but I'm actually pretty busy outside school. Or I think I'm just making myself busy to take my mind of the important things that I'm actually suppose to be thinking about e.g. the future.

It is a black hole ( I mean, not literally a black hole, black hole but an empty, unknown space in my mind that's an empty, unknown space. Yes. Indeed. I think everyone goes through this at least once in a lifetime, right? So I think it's perfectly normal to be at a loss when usually I have every little thing planned out for me.

Thank God there's God to help me through everything. At least I have a guide to lead me through this black hole.

Oh, help me.

A

Today I actually took part in my first ever poco-poco dance in school led by none other than Cikgu Sita. (as if anyone else would have the guts to go on stage and do line dance)

So embarrassing. But made us sweat a bit la. I was quite sporting actually, haha.

And then, we had an Anti-Dadah ceramah which of course I fell asleep in. For a whole 45 minutes. Very, very, boring. And our students kept asking the poor guy about perverted drug questions which were quite irrevlevant. Tsk tsk.

Meanwhile I excercised my right brain today by practising how to right with the left hand. VERY HARD. I have by now mastered the capital A. That's about it. Looks quite authentic. Might be even neater than my right hand A. I will do J tomorrow.

I am currently uploading photos but my facebook connection is so terrible. Tsk tsk. Sort of missing Konsert Syukur now although it gave me a sore throat and two aching hands.

But I did have a good experience and if you ask me for P Ramlee songs, I can now tell you......5! Waaaaah, so cool right! I cna even sing snippets. Wah! I know, fantastic. After the death-freezingly-bitter-swirling-chill-that-makes-all-your-hair-including-the-ones-on-your-head-stand-up-cold in the old DUN, I feel hot no matter where I go.

Oh, facebook just told me my upload failed for the 2nd time.

Here we go again.

Yay.

Well, since PMR is over, I don't have any excuse to not blog, so here I am. At last.

3 years of hard studying for 5 days.

That's it?

Only 7 A's?

And less then a hundred bucks?

That's saaad.

Ah, but what memories!

And sleepless nights!

And sneaking on to facebook!

And sneaking on to the tele!

And ...studying.

And ...not studying.

And getting scolded by my mum for not studying.

And then, playing the guitar.

And buying a new pair of earphones. YAY! ME LOVETH IN-EAR.

Now *dramatic soundtracks*

begins the pre-result period of 2 months.

So you thought the PMR exam was hard?

You now have to face the anticipation of whether you get an A for Science and more horribly, BM. *screams*

Whooopee.

That aside, I'm going online very frequently now (as if I wasn't already doing so).

But today, I have a date with my other 'PMR overers' at the movies.

I AM STUDYING LAH

Hi there.

Just to say HAPPY HARI RAYA to all my Malay friends and those none Malay friends too (just so there's no excuse to keep calling me racist. *ahem Mierah*ahem Eleena*ahem Mierah*)

Hopefully I get to visit those two racist-calling people tomorrow. That's if I can even find Amirah's house. Anyone want to come with me? She said I could bring ANYONE, that includes my extended, extended, twice-removed, thrice-removed family members too! Come on, Grandma.

Ok, so I know. Yess, I am supposed to be studying. I wouldn't say I haven't been studying. I HAVE! A bit. Dunno la, I feel so malas to study and I feel like I know every king or sultan that ever lived although I don't.

There was..

Sultan Muzzaffar Shah,
Sultan Mansor Shah,
Sultan Allauddin Riayat Shah,
Sultan Mahmud Shah,
Sultan Ahmad Shah,
Sultan Allauddin Riayat Shah II,
Sultan Mahmud Shah II,
and then........

.....

.....

that's about it.

Believe it or not, I didn't even look at the text book for that! AHAH!
In your face!

Back to studying Geo.

I dislike PMR.
